  • Marguerite Lewars (Kirkpatrick) Gordon was born and educated in Kingston Jamaica. She is also a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago. She is a Human Resource Development Consultant / Lecturer/ Trainer / Former Columnist and Author. Her first job was with BWIA (now Caribbean Airlines) at the airport in Kingston Jamaica. She was a customer service supervisor for BWIA BOAC (British Airways) and Lufthansa. She helped to form the first Jamaican Airline, Air Jamaica and was trained by Air Canada in Montreal. She was appointed in-flight Service Manager responsible eighty-five personnel. She resigned from this job to start her own training company MK Careers. Her company conceptualized and was the first to use the word personal and professional development in Jamaica many years ago. She brought this to the eastern Caribbean in the early 80's when she formed MK Careers Trinidad Limited. She has trained over 25000 participants in the Caribbean from over 500 different companies and organizations, such as banks, government organizations, private business, and retail companies, airline staff from two different airlines and a small cruise ship company called Wind Jammer Barefoot Cruises. She was a lifestyle columnist with the Trinidad Sunday Express newspaper for over 20 years. In 1990, in Trinidad she wrote a children's book "Dancer, the little dog from Mayaro beach". She then turned this into. three-act play. A talented local composer Roger Israel wrote her musical score and she co-wrote the lyrics with him. Over one hundred children performed this musical at Queen's Hall in September 1992. This Children's Book was translated into brail.
