My name is L Mat Andall I was born 1951 in Trinidad I attended St. Joseph Government Primary School. I later went on to Queens Royal College followed by Polytechnic for sixth form. I entered into the world of work as a Civil Servant at the Magistrate court and the Harbor Masters.
I travelled extensively for several years through out the Caribbean and Latin America. I worked in the Telecommunication Industry for almost thirty years retiring as a Fiber Optic Technician. Throughout those years I have consistently wrote poetry.
I won the Express poetry competition in 2008 Welcoming the first black President of the USA. Also, I wrote many articles for the Trinidad Review. And I am also an active Leader of Scherzando Steel Orchestra.
