Author’s Bio Myda Ramesar, the author, holds a BSc(Hons)in Biology from York University, Toronto, and Diploma in Education( Distinction) from UWI. She is an experienced science teacher who has taught with great success for over thirty-five in the secondary school system in Trinidad. She was the Head of Department (Biological Sciences) at Carapichaima East Secondary School for many years as well as the Coordinator of UWI Open Campus, Central Centre. She is also the co-author of Cape Biology textbooks for Units 1 and 2 and has served as an assistant examiner for CSEC integrated Science and Biology as well as an examiner for CAPE Biology for many years.
