Darcel Joseph is a Social Work Practitioner with fourteen years’ experience in both the Governmental and Non-Governmental Sectors. She’s currently employed as a Family Services Social Worker with the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services. Ms. Joseph is the Founder of Children of the Promise Foundation (CPF). CPF is a registered Non-Governmental Organization with a mandate to provide quality advocacy, intervention and support to children and young people, and to create a community where children are free to learn, play and grow. CPF’s goal is to ensure that our clients as well as their support systems receive guidance and coaching in an attempt to foster holistic development and become transformational leaders across the globe. Darcel holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Counselling, and a Masters in Christian Ministry. Darcel is also an alumna of the International Exchange Research Board (IREX) Community Solutions Program and Initiatives of Change - Asia Plateau, Caux Scholars Program. Darcel is very family oriented and is always actively finding ways of bringing her family together. She also enjoys traveling, learning about and experiencing new cultures. In her quiet moments, Darcel enjoys reading, singing, and writing poetry.
