Latoyaa Roberts has over 10 years of experience as a social entrepreneur, communications expert and youth advocate. Based in the wonderful island of Tobago but living with the mantra – “live local, think global”, she works as an independent development consultant for International Organizations such as IDB, UNDP, Plan International, Youth Time Movement and CIVICUS: World Alliance of Citizens Participation. Her writing is an expression about the development challenges she sees around her with a focus on women, gender, youth, travel, political discourse and the role of civil society.
