Born the last of eight in South Trinidad, she worked in Education for twenty-nine years: teacher, Vice-principal and Principal. She attained her qualifications: B.A in Sociology, Diploma in. Ed, Masters in Education and PhD in Education among others, to prepare her to move from the classroom and school environment to educating the public on advocating for quality education. Her focus is on parenting as a means of giving children the best chance they have to reach their maximum potential to be the best version of themselves. This has always been her passion and interest and it now extents into her retirement years through her writing.
